PLAYGROUND



We dreamed up this space out of a mixture of necessity, wishful thinking, and sleep deprivation. And while that’s true, we were solidly anchored in a clear vision to create a playground that wouldn’t dictate play but instead spark the imagination and build inspiring lifelong memories. 

What came to life is a modernist wonderland with a rolling grass hill, color-changing passageways, a climbing wall, a reading nook, a costume room, imaginative wooden play structures, and a seriously cool sensory cave. Every square inch intentional; every square foot thought out. At Fox & Kit, your children will lose themselves in their imaginations whether you relax and enjoy a moment for yourself or decide to follow them down the rabbit hole and discover your inner child.

*Weekend afternoons are reserved for our Private Birthday Party Packages up to 2 weeks ahead and if not booked they will be available for open play (also check back to see if any cancellations have happened!)

*Please Note: Socks MUST be worn in the playground so please remember to bring them for you and your children. We also have socks available for purchase in case you leave them at home. Children 9mo & under without older sibling/friend: please use the free infant/crawler play space in the cafe. Please follow our Covid-19 rules. Thank you!

 PLAYGROUND RULES

  • SOCKS must be worn at ALL times (Parents and Children)

  • Playground ages: 9 mo. - 11 years

  • Children under 9mo. not allowed in playground if not accompanying older sibling/friend. Must use crawler area in cafe.

  • Children 3 and under require parent/caregiver supervision

  • Fox & Kit staff are present to enforce safety rules only. Fox & Kit is NOT a care facility. Parents/caregivers MUST remain on premises at ALL times

  • Fox & Kit is not responsible for any injuries, theft, loss or damages incurred while on our premises (please see our waiver)

  • Please remove shoes, loose articles of clothing, jewelry or sharp objects

  • NO pens, pencils, markers, or art supplies

  • We have a strict “no-Bullying” policy! Children who display aggressive behavior toward their peers or siblings will be asked to leave

  • NO running or pushing or playing tag

  • NO throwing rock or geometric cushions

  • NO screaming

  • 2-hour maximum playtime or 1-hour on school holidays & rainy or smokey days.

  • NO food, drinks or gum inside the playground (Adults can bring coffee/tea drinks inside with our special playground tumblers)

  • NO toys

  • We appreciate you visiting us only if your child is not displaying symptoms of a contagious illness

  • Please observe all “do not climb/hang” signage

  • Rock or geometric cushions must remain OFF the grass hill, cave & play structures

  • NO riding or rolling cushions down the grass hill

  • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items

  • Children under 4 must always be accompanied into the restrooms

  • Please change diapers in the restrooms, not in the playground

  • Café area is for café paying customers, please stay in the playground area if you’re not purchasing drinks/food

  • Fox & Kit reserves the right to ask anyone to leave who does not abide by these rules
